Hitler Silenced

For a period in the 1920's, Hitler was forbidden to address public meetings in much of Germany, which was a major blow to the Nazi propaganda apparatus. This poster, by cartoonist Philipp Rupprecht (most known for his cartoons for Julius Streicher's Der Stürmer) is captioned: He alone of two billion people on earth may not speak in Germany." From the German Propaganda Archive. (great site)

Secret Swastika

A small, left-facing swastika was painted on the inside of the nosecone of the Spirit of St. Louis along with the names of all the Ryan Aircraft Co. employees who designed and built it. It was meant as a message of good luck prior to Lindbergh's solo Atlantic crossing as the symbol was often used as a popular good luck charm with early aviators and others.

Hitler in the Comics: Jack Chick Tract

From "Love the Jewish People" published by Jack Chick. I read this Chick comic a LONG time ago & like most of his comics, it had the opposite effect of its more obvious intention on me. The story says that if you're good to the Jews you'll be blessed & if you're bad to the Jews you'll be cursed. Having since experimented with this in my lab, i can tell you it's not true. If you're not familiar with Jack Chick tracts, go order yourself 25 for $3.75! A steal! And check this out! You can now embed Jack Chick tracts wherever you please! The FUTURE!

HITLER IN THE NEWS

HITLER HAD ONLY GOT ONE BALL!
By ALEX PEAKE
Published: 19 Nov 2008 in the Sun

AN extraordinary account from a German army medic has finally confirmed what the world long suspected: Hitler only had one ball. War veteran Johan Jambor made the revelation to a priest in the 1960s, who wrote it down. The priest’s document has now come to light – 23 years after Johan’s death. The war tyrant’s medical condition has been mocked for years in a British song. The lyrics are: “Hitler has only got one ball, the other is in the Albert Hall. His mother, the dirty b****r, cut it off when he was small.’ Until now there has never been complete proof Hitler was monorchic – the medical term for having one testicle. But the document tells how Johan saw the proof with his own eyes. In the account, he relives the horror of serving as an army medic in World War I. He died aged 94 in 1985, but had told his secret to priest Franciszek Pawlar, who kept a note of their conversation. Johan’s friend Blassius Hanczuch confirmed the priest’s account of how the medic saved Hitler’s life. He said: “In 1916 they had their hardest fight in the Battle of the Somme. “For several hours, Johan and his friends picked up injured soldiers. He remembers Hitler. “They called him the ‘Screamer’. He was very noisy. Hitler was screaming ‘help, help’. “His abdomen and legs were all in blood. Hitler was injured in the abdomen and lost one testicle. His first question to the doctor was: ‘Will I be able to have children?’.” Blassius said that when the Nazis swept to power Johan began to suffer nightmares and blame himself for saving Hitler. Hitler’s genitals have long caused controversy. Some historians dismissed the “one ball” song as propaganda. But an alleged Soviet autopsy on Hitler backed it up. Records show Hitler did suffer a groin injury in the Somme. It is the first time an interview with anyone who treated Hitler during WWI has come to light. Dr Martin Farr, senior lecturer at Newcastle University School of Historical Studies, said last night: “This genuinely new twist is fascinating.”

Secret Swastika

In 1925 Coca Cola made a lucky watch fob in the shape of a swastika with the slogan, "Drink Coca Cola five cents in bottles." At that time, the Swastika was still a symbol of 'Good Luck'. The watch fob is approximately 4cm x 4cm in size and is made of brass.

Secret Swastika

Lotta Svärd was a Finnish voluntary auxiliary paramilitary organisation for women founded in 1918 & operating until 1944.

The blue swastika was the good luck symbol used by the Swedish Count Erich von Rosen, who donated the first plane to the Finnish White Army during the Civil War in Finland. It has no connection to the Nazi use of the swastika. It also still appears in many Finnish medals and decorations. In the very respected wartime medals of honor it was a visible element, first drafted by Axel Gallen-Kallela 1918-1919. Mannerheim cross with a swastika is the Finnish equivalent of Victoria Cross, Croix de Guerre and Congressional Medal of Honor. Due to Finland's alliance with Nazi Germany in World War II, the symbol was abandoned as a national marking, to be replaced by a roundel.

Secret Swastika

The swastika is a symbol so old, pretty much every culture has used it at some point or another. From neolithic Druids to Hindu elephant riders to Roman Rabbis to Coca-Cola. Then Hitler came & did his thing & now swastika=Hitler=bad. The swastika DOES have a hypnotic effect on the observer, but can a symbol be evil?

Hitler Vs. Chaplin: It's the Hat

Hut Weber advertises that the only difference between Hitler & Charlie Chaplin might be one of their fine hats. We all know Chaplin's role in some of the world's larger atrocities & how they didn't stick because of his magic hat. Joking aside, Chaplin did share the toothbrush moustache with Hitler.

While he's much better known for his little moustache, I think I like Hitler's WWI look better.

You're No Hitler!

The NO 2 ID campaign in England likened Tony Blair to Hitler in this 2006 ad against England's rapid growth of the database state, of which "ID cards" are the most visible part. Tony Blair is no Hitler, however, the Nazis did champion very intense databasing & organization of their society (using IBM designed machines) not unlike the current nanny states cancerously growing in Western countries.

You're No Hitler!

It is surprisingly difficult to find a Cheney as Hitler picture on the internet. Most of the Cheney-is-evil mashup images feature him as the devil, Cthulu, or Emperor Palpatine. Which, if you think about it, means popular opinion is that Cheney is more evil than Hitler.

You're No Hitler!

Richard Nixon is another American president who was compared to Hitler, having only one central element in common, that they were not popular with Americans. This propaganda playing card was by Cuban Luis Alvarez in 1973.

You're No Hitler!

George W. Bush has probably been compared to Hitler more than any other American politician (besides Barack Obama).

The comparison is not particularly useful however, as there are very few similarities between Bush Jr. & Hitler, outside of how much both are reviled by today's American popular culture. George W. Bush, you're no Hitler!

You're No Hitler!

It has been very popular for the last 30 years or so to compare politicians to Hitler. Usually, the politicians have very little similarity to Hitler, but as we know, Hitler has become shorthand for BAD MAN. You'd think the Devil or some sort of other non-historical figure would be more useful as a bogeyman, but no! In honor of the current election cycle, the Daily Hitler presents "You're No Hitler!": Politicians Compared to Hitler for the next week or so. Enjoy!
